Sporty and aesthetic – the Bugatti phenomenon
In 2007, Bremen gained the famous Musée National de l'Automobile (also known under the name Collection Schlumpf) for the special show.
Fully in accordance with Ettore Bugatti, who liked calling his vehicles “Le Pur-Sang des Automobiles” (thoroughbreds of the automobile world) the Bremen fair presented a selection or rare bolids for the dressage ring and the race-course: the impressive T41 "Royale Esders" (6m long, 12.8 litre engine); a prototype of the T64, which was driven by Jean Bugatti personally; the T35 "Tank" which in spite of (or perhaps because of) its extremely short wheelbase shot tangentially from the course on tight bends… But also the legendary T35, a T55, and the Bugatti Bébé were on display.
