The Bremen town musicians, los músicos de Bremen, les musiciens de Brême

There’s a lot to see in Bremen – from the town musicians, the town centre around the market square and the Schnoor district to the art gallery or the Universum. This historic and highly diverse Hanseatic city combines tradition, science, technology and innovation – and, as Germany’s tenth largest city, none are in short supply. In true north German style, however, the Hanseatic city remains untouched by the hectic, breakneck pace of other cities and short routes are an integral part of it.

Bremen has cultural diversity, an active nightlife, exciting sights and surprising discoveries. Enjoy this variety and book your visit from the comfort of your own home. You can find ideas for a fascinating trip to Bremen as well as current accommodation offers of Bremen Tourism for the Bremen Classic Motorshow here.

Directions

Arrive relaxed, leave relaxed:
Use our Park & Ride parking option at the airport (multi-storey carpark 1).
Drive comfortably almost up to our door – without traffic jams or searching for a parking space!

Getting there
Within Bremen, simply follow the airport signs:

Satnav address for multi-storey carpark 1 at the airport: Fitzmauricestraße, 28199 Bremen
Drive up to the entry barrier, take a parking ticket and find a parking space.
Follow the “Ausgang” signs and take the staircase to the outside.
There is a ticket booth on the left right next to the multistory car park exit. Here you can buy tickets for the BREMEN CLASSIC MOTORSHOW plus a combined reduced-fare parking and tram ticket for € 7.00 (valid for all car occupants).

Important note: you will need the parking ticket you took from the machine as well as the combined reduced-fare parking and tram ticket to exit the multi-storey car park!

A few metres from the ticket booth, take the No. 6 tram towards “Universität”. Get off at the Blumenthalstrasse stop. The ride takes 18 minutes. From there, follow the signs to the entrance of BREMEN CLASSIC MOTORSHOW, a walk of 250 metres.
You can find details of the tram timetables on the BSAG (public transport company) website.

Getting back
Go back to the Blumenthalstraße stop and take the No. 6 tram to “Flughafen”.
When you get to the airport, go to your car and drive to the exit. First insert your parking ticket, then the reduced-fare combined ticket into the machine to open the barrier.

City Airport Bremen is just six kilometres from the city centre, the trade show and the Congress Centrum Bremen. It is connected to all the major German and European hubs and airports: for example Amsterdam, Brussels, Milan, Copenhagen, London, Munich, Stuttgart or Frankfurt.
The tram stop is directly in front of the airport, and from here you can get to the exhibition site in about 18 minutes with the No. 6 tram (Blumenthalstraße stop).

Regional and long-distance trains take you in comfort to Bremen central station. The station is only 3 minutes’ walk from the exhibition site. Please use the North (“Nord”) exit in the direction Messe Bremen/ÖVB-Arena.

You can book your Deutsche Bahn ticket to the Bremen Classic Motorshow using the DB button. Please note: The event ticket is available for online booking at the earliest six months before you travel.

Within Bremen, you can get to the exhibition site by bus Nos. 24 (Blumenthalstraße stop), 26 and 27 (Messe Centrum stop) and by tram Nos. 6 and 8 (Blumenthalstraße stop). You can find details of the timetables on the BSAG (public transport company) website.

Please note: In view of the limited parking spaces available on the exhibition site, we recommend you use the Park & Ride service! Find out everything you need to know under Park & Ride.
