It’s roadworthy and technically fit, it does everything it should and it’s reserved for somebody no older than 25 – a Vespa PK 50 xl2 at the Bremen Classic Motorshow! The red scooter is a used entry-level model, which will get the finishing touches on site at the Bremen Classic Motorshow 2019 and will then be raffled. Scooter clubs HMRJ, Zottel Zossen, Vespa-Bande and Diekdüvels, some of which have been part of the 2017 Bremen Classic Motorshow since 2017, want to attract new enthusiasts this way. After rising prices in the past, the market seems to have cooled down a little recently. However a classic Vespa is still often too expensive for young fans. That’s why the four scooter clubs from Bremen, Bremerhaven and the Oldenburg area, who are linked in a nationwide network, decided to organise this scooter raffle restricted to participants under 25 years old. Naturally, older people can also buy tickets, but the Vespa must be collected by their young son, daughter or even grandchild. Youngsters can gain a driving licence for Vespas from the age of 16, and anybody who has a car licence is already set to go. The scooter display is on the upper deck in the foyer of the ÖVB Arena (stand number: 1 OD 30), and tickets will be on sale there on all three days of the Motorshow.
